Questions we are asked
Why resin bound rather than block paving or tarmac?
Resin bound is permeable so water drains through, the finish is seamless with no joints for weeds, and it is easy to keep clean.
Does a front driveway need planning permission?
A permeable surface usually avoids the planning issues that come with paving a front garden, but this is checked at the site visit.
Can resin go over my existing drive?
Sometimes, if the existing base is sound. The site visit decides whether it can be overlaid or needs a new base.
How long before I can drive on it?
After curing. You will be told the time at handover, as it depends on the weather.
How do I look after it?
Occasional sweeping and a wash down. Care guidance is given at handover.
No big payments up front. A small deposit to book, then staged payments, each one due only after you have signed off the stage before.
